It seems everyone wants to be an indie producer. ITunes has 250,000 podcasts online, with more coming online every day, and YouTube has tons of independent content, and a passel of new digital era video celebrities. But this isn’t a completely new kind of phenomenon – Bob Lewis, aka Tumbleweed Smith, has been an independent producer for more than 50 years. His syndicated radio series, “The Sound of Texas,” recently passed 13,000 episodes aired.
